Winyards Gap Inn
Electrical renovation for this beloved West Dorset country pub, lighting design, emergency lighting, kitchen circuits, and a BlueSound audio system, completed in time for a Christmas relaunch.
Winyards Gap Inn - restaurant with Ansell dimmable downlights and Corston brass switches
Project Overview
We were delighted to undertake the electrical renovation at the charming Winyards Gap Inn, a beloved country pub nestled in the heart of West Dorset. Collaborating closely with the new management team and other trades, our skilled electricians ensured the project ran seamlessly from design to installation, meeting the crucial deadline to re-launch in time for Christmas.
We used Ansell Lighting for high-quality, dimmable downlights and angled spotlights, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. To complement the pub's new aesthetic, Corston Architectural Detail provided brass switches and sockets, which paired beautifully with the fresh blue décor.
A state-of-the-art BlueSound audio system was installed throughout the bar and restaurant, and all emergency lighting was designed and commissioned to meet current safety standards. The result is a space that feels as good as it looks, warm, characterful, and perfectly lit.
