Kick-start your electrical career with Relay Electrical Services. We're looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join our team, gain hands-on experience across domestic and commercial projects, and work towards a recognised Level 3 qualification.
About the Role
- Work alongside experienced electricians on domestic, commercial, and industrial projects across Somerset and Dorset.
- Learn the trade from the ground up, from first fix wiring to consumer unit work, lighting, testing, and certification.
- Combine on-the-job training with formal college study towards a Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting qualified electricians with installation work on site.
- Installing wiring, sockets, lighting, and consumer units to BS 7671 standards.
- Carrying out testing and inspection under supervision.
- Attending college on a day-release basis to complete your Level 3 qualification.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Working across a wide range of sites, domestic, commercial, industrial, agricultural, 3-phase installations, and specialist lighting, giving you the chance to build vast, well-rounded electrical knowledge.
What We're Looking For
- A genuine interest in the electrical trade and a willingness to learn.
- Good practical skills and attention to detail.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at grade 4/C or above (not essential, we'll consider applicants on merit and attitude).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team.
- Full driving licence is desirable but not essential.
