The Padel Court

We were appointed to carry out the full electrical and lighting installation for this exciting conversion project - a large barn store transformed into a professional padel tennis court in Somerset. Working closely with the client and their construction team, we designed and delivered a robust electrical scheme fit for a commercial leisure facility.

The sub-main installation required us to run cabling and network infrastructure from adjacent farm buildings across the site, ensuring a reliable supply to the new facility. Galvanised conduit containment was specified throughout for durability in the agricultural building environment, and high bay lighting was installed over the court to provide even, high-quality illumination across the playing surface.

A key feature of the project was the mezzanine spectator gallery, where we installed infrared heating panels to keep spectators comfortable year-round. Courtside corridors were fitted with characterful industrial bulkhead fittings on galvanised conduit runs, adding a practical yet considered aesthetic. Emergency lighting, a payment terminal, and full testing and commissioning completed the installation.
